Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals NFL week 6 over/under odds
Betting Line: Bengals -2.5
Over/Under: 53 points at 888 Sportsbook
The Steelers and Bengals will do battle at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday in a match with some big early-season ramifications. This is one match with a bevy of brilliant NFL betting options for punters to take advantage of.
The Steelers have been a big disappointment this season as a team that was supposed to challenge for the AFC title, but they were impressive in their last game.
They are still not over .500 and trail the 4-1 Bengals and 3-2 Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North. Their Achilles Heel so far on the season has been their defense, which only ranks 29th in the league, but that defense did play well in the last game.
The Bengals have not beat any great teams, but they are at 4-1 and alone in first place in the AFC North. They have won two in a row where they have totaled 64 points and their run game has been much better with the return of Joe Mixon. Cincinnati does not rank highly in passing or rushing offense, but they are getting in the end zone ranking fourth in the NFL in points per game.
The Steelers have won their last four games facing the Bengals.
This season the Steelers are 2-3 ATS and they have an Over/Under record of 4-1 with the Bengals at 4-1 ATS with an Over/Under record of 4-1.

The Steelers are coming off their best win of the season where they laid a 41-17 beat down on the Atlanta Falcons. Their defense held Atlanta to only 62 rushing yards, Ben Roethlisberger was solid with 250 passing yards and three touchdowns and one interception, and James Connor rushed for 110 yards. Antonio Brown had over 100 receiving yards and caught two touchdowns and while JuJu Smith-Schuster only had 34 receiving yards in the game he ranks seventh in the league in receiving yards.
Big Ben will get his yards and Conner needs to help him out since Le’Veon Bell is still not back, but will be soon. The Steelers’ defense needs to play well again in this game on the road where they are 1-0-1.
The Bengals are coming off a 27-17 win over the Miami Dolphins where they held them to less than 300 yards. Andy Dalton has been pretty good under center and it helps to have a star wide receiver in A.J. Green, who led the team with 112 receiving yards in the win over Miami.
The Bengals only rank 23rd in the league in rushing yards per game, but Joe Mixon has been playing well. He rushed for 92 yards in the win over the Dolphins and has at least 84 yards on the ground in all three games he has played. He has missed time with a knee injury and is listed as questionable for this game.
With Cincinnati’s pass defense only ranking 22nd in the league in pass defense their pass rush will have to pressure Big Ben in this game. If they do not he could light up the Bengals’ secondary, which has been up and down this season.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals betting prediction
I think the Steelers will play like they did in their blowout win over the Falcons with a balanced game playing well on both sides of the ball.
Connor will run the ball well again and Big Ben will put up some good numbers.
With the confidence picked up from the win over Atlanta the Pittsburgh defense will also get it done.
The Steelers will cover the spread and if you take the moneyline it is a good bet, as they will also win this game making the AFC North race a very tight one.
