The 32-year-old knocked McGregor out at UFC 257 and could have asked for a title fight after that win, but he decided to settle the score with McGregor once and for all in this rubber match on Saturday.

Conor McGregor (22-5) rose to superstardom with a 15-0 run from 2011 through 2015 that included a 7-0 run in the UFC. McGregor returned to the UFC in October of 2018 and was beaten convincingly by Khabib Nurmagomedov. He picked up an exciting first-round knockout win over Donald Cerrone, but that win came against an aging veteran who has lost his last five fights.

The shape of UFC betting markets suggests punters just don’t know what to expect from McGregor at this point in his career. In his rematch against Nate Diaz, we saw a man willing to put in the work to add endurance training so that he could last in a long fight against an opponent with a tough jaw.
