The NFL’s Thursday Night Football game for Week 13 will be an interesting contest between the 8-3 Dallas Cowboys and the 6-5 Seattle Seahawks in Arlington, Texas. While the vibes surrounding these teams are completely different, both squads would be in the playoffs if the season ended today. We have some NFL betting picks for this Thursday showcase on November 30.
If this game happened last week, most football betting sites would have put up very different lines to this. On Thanksgiving, however, the Seahawks lost 31-13 and the Cowboys won 45-10. While those results should not be ignored, it was only one week and it’s important to not overreact. Seattle have lost two games in a row, but this is still a playoff-caliber roster. Even though Dallas should win this game at home, 9.5 points is too big a handicap to give a solid Seahawks team.
DK Metcalf is coming off of his worst game of his season, but he should bounce back here. While the star receiver only mustered 32 yards in the Seahawks’ crushing loss to the San Francisco 49ers, he cleared this number in four of his five previous games. If Seattle want to stay in this game, they will have to target Metcalf early and often, and this number is far too low for someone with his talent.
Tony Pollard is finally heating up after a long touchdown drought. The Cowboys running back has scored in two consecutive weeks and now has a great chance to make it three. Seattle have given up the fifth-most rushing touchdowns in the league and have really struggled to stop the run of late. Pollard, as the starting running back, should be given plenty of good opportunities to score.
