The Serie A Matchweek 25 betting card has two matchups between top-five teams on it as Napoli hosts Inter Milan and Juventus visits Atalanta. We’ll cover these two high-profile matchups and also make a pick in Monday’s Spezia Calcio vs Fiorentina match in this week’s Serie A best bets.

Napoli vs Inter Milan

Inter Milan (16-5-2) had its eight-match winning streak snapped in a 0-0 draw against Atalanta on January 16, but the Nerazzurri still carried a 14-match unbeaten streak of 11-3-0 into the Milan Derby last Saturday against AC Milan. Milan managed to pull off the 2-1 upset on the road, handing Internazionale its first loss since October 16 and giving Napoli a golden opportunity to make up some ground on the Serie A table.

Napoli (16-4-4) has won four straight matches and is now one point behind Inter Milan in the standings, though Inter still has a game to make up. The offense has come alive for Napoli in recent weeks with eight goals scored in the club’s last three matches. We like the UNDER 2.75 goals in this intriguing matchup. The total went comfortably OVER in Inter’s 3-2 win over Napoli earlier this year, but these are the two best defensive teams in Serie A, and this game is going to put a ton of pressure on both clubs. Look for a tight, competitive game that could easily end in a 1-1 draw or go 1-0 or 2-0 to the team that scores first.

Atalanta vs Juventus

Juventus (13-6-5) hasn’t lost since its last match against Atalanta in November, compiling a 7-3-0 record in its last 10 matches since then. Atalanta (12-7-4) was in the midst of an 8-2-0 run when it picked up that road win over Juventus. The club’s form has been a lot worse since then with a 1-3-2 record over its last six games, most recently suffering a stunning 2-1 loss at home to Cagliari on Sunday.

The UNDER 2.5 goals is a tempting play here as 12 of Juventus’s last 13 games, including its match against Atlanta, have had a total of two goals scored or less. Atalanta has also played to three 0-0 draws in its last five matches. But with a significantly better payout being offered on Juventus to win outright, that’s the best value bet in this game. Juventus is 4-2-0 in its last six road games and is in strong enough form to take three points against this struggling Atalanta side.

Spezia Calcio vs Fiorentina

Fiorentina (11-3-9) suffered a 3-0 loss at home to Lazio on Saturday, falling to 1-3-2 over its last six matches since going 3-0-0 over its previous three. Spezia Calcio (7-6-12) meanwhile has climbed out of the relegation zone with a 4-1-1 record over its last six matches that includes huge road upsets over A.C. Milan and Napoli.

Given the current form of these two teams and Spezia’s home field advantage (where the club is a solid 3-3-2 over its last eight home matches), it’s a bit surprising to see Spezia going off as a big +300 underdog and Fiorentina sitting at -105 as road favorites. A Fiorentina victory is certainly the most likely outcome, but there’s way too much value on a very live home underdog here to pass up on Spezia at this price.
