Serie A 2021/22 Matchweek 32 betting picks & best value bets

Serie A MW32 betting preview

The race for the top spot in Serie A intensifies in Matchweek 32 as Inter Milan hosts Hellas Verona, Napoli hosts Fiorentina and AC Milan visits Torino. We’ve got best bets in all three of these key games in this weekend’s Serie A soccer betting picks.

Inter Milan vs Hellas Verona

Inter Milan (18-9-3) snapped out of its 1-4-2 slump in impressive style last Sunday with a 1-0 road win over Juventus. Juventus hadn’t lost since November 27 and was 11-5-0 over its previous 16 games prior to its defeat at the hands of Internazionale. Inter is now 2-3-0 over its last five matches and is back within striking distance of AC Milan atop the Serie A table.

Hellas Verona (12-9-10) scored five minutes into its game against Genoa on Monday night and held that lead for the entire game to secure a 1-0 win at home. Hellas will try to carry the momentum of their win into a victory on the road, where they are 0-3-1 over their last four games. We like the UNDER 2.5 goals in this one; six of Inter Milan’s last seven games have produced two total goals or fewer and Verona’s last four games have averaged exactly two goals per game. Inter winning 1-0 or 2-0 and even a 1-1 draw all seem like realistic low-scoring outcomes.

Under 2.5 total goals

Napoli vs Fiorentina

Napoli (20-6-5) improved to 8-2-1 over its last 11 games and to 3-0-0 over its last three games with a 3-1 road win over Atalanta on Sunday. The club enters Matchweek 32 just one point behind AC Milan for first place in Serie A. Napoli has won each of its last three league games against Fiorentina including a 2-1 road win earlier this season in October.

Fiorentina (15-5-10) defeated Empoli 1-0 last weekend to move to 2-2-0 over its last four matches. The road team has scored exactly one goal in each of its last four matches, beating Bologna 1-0 and playing to 1-1 draws against Hellas Verona and Inter Milan. The current form of Fiorentina’s defense gives us something to worry about, but Napoli is playing well and is at home with first place in Serie A on the line; these are the types of matches they need to be winning, and we believe they’ll get the job done.

Napoli to win

Torino vs AC Milan

AC Milan (20-7-4) recorded a disappointing 0-0 draw against Bologna last Monday. Milan’s defending continued to shine as the club earned its fourth straight clean sheet, but two valuable points were left on the table due to the lack of offense. The current first-place team is 5-4-0 over its last nine matches.

Torino (10-8-2) snapped a eight-match winless streak of 0-4-4 with a 1-0 win on the road over last-place Salernitana on Saturday. This game continued Torino’s trend towards low-scoring games of late as the club has played in four straight matches with two goals or less with an average of one total goal over that stretch. All signs point to a 1-0 AC Milan score in this one, which happened to be the final score when these two teams last met in October. It’s a tough choice between the UNDER 2.25 at -102 and AC Milan at -105, but we’ll take the UNDER.

Under 2.25 total goals
