Juventus will be looking to extend its current unbeaten streak to seven games when it visits A.S. Roma this Sunday. That matchup along with Inter Milan vs. Lazio and Hellas Verona vs. Salternitana have been selected in this weekend’s Serie A Matchweek 21 best bets.

Roma vs. Juventus

A.S. Roma (10-2-8) slid down to seventh place on the Serie A table on Thursday with a 3-1 loss on the road to A.C. Milan. Since opening the season with three straight wins, Roma has been largely inconsistent across a 7-2-8 run over its last 17 games, most recently going 0-1-1 over its last two matches. Juventus meanwhile is 3-3-0 over its last six matches after playing to a 0-0 draw against Napoli on Thursday. The club has allowed one goal or less in each of its last nine games, compiling a 6-2-1 record over that stretch.

The UNDER 2.5 goals looks like a viable option in this one given how strong Juventus’s defense has been in recent months. But we prefer taking Juventus in this one with the better payout of +120 being offered on the three-way line. Roma has struggled against high-quality teams and even lost to Juventus 1-0 earlier this season when the road team wasn’t in as good a form as it is now. Look for a similar final here with Juventus winning a low-scoring match.

Inter Milan vs. Lazio

Inter Milan (14-4-1) was unable to play its scheduled road game against Bologna on Thursday, and so will return home for this match against Lazio with a 9-2-0 record over its last 11 games, a 7-0-0 record over its last seven games and no goals allowed over its last six gamses. Lazio (9-5-6) is the only team to have defeated Inter this season with a 3-1 win a home back in October. The club is 2-1-0 over its last three matches and has scored three goals in each of those matches, most recently playing Empoli to a 3-3 draw.

Something has to give as Lazio’s red-hot offense faces Inter Milan’s red-hot defense on Sunday. Despite Inter Milan’s impressive shutout streak, we like this match to go OVER the posted total of three goals. Internazionale should be fired up to avenge its loss to Lazio earlier this season and could score three or four goals itself. Lazio’s streak of games with three+goals is likely going to come to an end, but one or two tallies isn’t out of the question. However it works out, expect plenty of fireworks in this one.

Hellas Verona vs. Salternitana

Hellas Verona (7-6-7) snapped a three-match losing streak on Thursday with a 2-1 road win over Spezia. Salernitana (2-2-14) has had each of its last two matches postponed including Thursday’s scheduled match against Venezia. The club is winless in its last eight games with an 0-1-7 record and has been outscored 20 to 1 over that stretch. Each of Salternitana’s last four games have been losses by two or more goals.

Look for that trend to continue this Sunday. Hellas Verona is 5-2-1 over its last eight home matches this season. That stretch includes an underwhelming 0-2-1 record over Verona’s last three home games, but those haven’t come against opponents as bad as Salternitana. These two clubs played to a 2-2 draw back in September; with home field advantage this time, expect Verona to win by at least a pair of goals, with this option pretty short with the best betting sites.
