Stake’s Weekly Giveaway is not a deposit match, odds boost or free-bet refund. It is a volume-based raffle: the more qualifying turnover you put through the Stake sportsbook or casino, the more entries you receive for that week’s draw.
For sports punters, the value call is simple. If your normal staking already gets near the $1,000 turnover mark, this can be a small extra on top. If you would need to lift your stake size just to chase tickets, the maths gets thin quickly.
The value question first
The prize pool is listed at $75,000, shared between 15 winners each week. Stake does not list the total number of tickets before the draw, so you cannot price one entry exactly. The rough expected-value formula is: prize pool divided by total tickets issued.
For example, if 150,000 tickets were in the draw, each ticket would represent 50 cents of pool value before variance. If 750,000 tickets were in the draw, that falls to 10 cents. Those are examples only, not published ticket counts.
That is why this promo suits existing turnover better than manufactured turnover. A raffle ticket is not the same as bonus cash in your balance, and it does not reduce the risk on the bets you place to earn it.
How it works
Ticket earning
- Every $1,000 USD wagered earns one raffle ticket.
- Both Stake sportsbook and casino wagering are included.
- Tickets are credited automatically rather than through a separate opt-in step.
- Your entry numbers can be checked from the $75K Weekly Raffle area under Stake’s promotions tab.
Turnover in plain numbers
Turnover means the total amount staked, not your profit or loss. Ten $100 bets equal $1,000 in turnover. Forty $25 bets also equal $1,000. A single $1,000 wager would also get you to one ticket, assuming it otherwise qualifies under Stake’s terms.
There is no listed bonus rollover here because there is no bonus balance to clear. The conversion is simply $1,000 of handle into one draw entry. Winning or losing the underlying sports bets does not turn that ticket into guaranteed value.
If Stake is available in your jurisdiction and the promo terms suit your bankroll, use the review link below to check the broader brand terms before treating this as part of your weekly staking plan.
The fine print
Draw timing and weekly cutoff
Stake lists the draw for 2pm GMT each Saturday on its nominated live stream, with the next weekly raffle period starting after the changeover hour. There is no fixed end date stated, so the genuine timing point is the weekly cutoff, not a final closing date.
Wagering from 2pm to 3pm GMT on Saturdays does not count toward raffle tickets. UK, AU and NZ readers should convert from GMT rather than assume local time, especially around daylight-saving changes.
Account, currency and checks
- Your Stake account must be in good standing and not in breach of the site’s terms.
- Stake may run extra KYC or AML checks before paying a prize.
- Entries can be voided for fraud, misrepresentation, hacking or exploitation.
- Stake partners and employees are excluded from prizes.
- The operator reserves the right to suspend, cancel or change the promotion where necessary.
One currency point matters for crypto users. In fiat view, Stake uses live exchange rates, so the USD value attached to crypto wagering can differ from what you expected when placing the bet. If you are close to the $1,000 ticket threshold, leave room for rate movement rather than cutting it fine.
Could not find stake-sportVerdict
Stake’s Weekly Giveaway suits punters who already turn over meaningful volume on Stake and are comfortable treating the raffle ticket as an overlay, not a core betting edge. It is also more relevant if you use both sports and casino products, because both contribute to the same ticket count.
Skip it if you would increase stake size, chase low-value markets or play casino games just to reach the next $1,000 block. One ticket per $1,000 wagered is easy to understand, but the return depends on how many other tickets are in the draw. Keep the promo behind your normal betting plan, not in front of it.
