Streaming service DAZN to launch UK-based betting service

DAZN Bet many years of ambition to establish itself in the UK have borne fruits after it made its debut.

It has been agreed that the UK market will be a pilot for the operator’s products. In the meantime, the product will be assessed and improved to enhance interactive experiences for sports enthusiasts.

DAZN Bet has plans to launch in other markets such as Spain and Canada (Top Canadian betting sites).

DAZN Bet’s CEO Mark Kemp says that the initial launch in the UK is the beginning of an exciting journey across sports betting and media.

He added that the move would help deliver on commitments to re-energise sports viewing for all fans. DAZN Bet has always wished to join the betting world after developing a vital sports streaming service.

As part of their strategy, the Daznbet began a rigorous recruitment exercise putting Mark Kemp as the CEO and Shane Mclaughlin to oversee the market entry into the UK. The move to launch DAZN Bet into the UK market does help not only the operator but also Pragmatic Play, which is the sportsbook platform provider. Pragmatic Play extended its services from iGaming into sports betting at the beginning of the year.
