Week five of the NFL season is here, and the league is in full swing. There are 12 games on tap for NFL fans this Sunday, and we have found our best picks for all of them. Let’s dive into the matchups.

Buffalo Bills vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

This will be the second NFL game played in London this season, and unlike last week’s matchup, this one looks like it will be a high-scoring affair. The Bills have been performing at an elite level since week one, winning each of their last three games by 28 points or more. The Jaguars may not have reached that level, but they enter this game with a respectable 2-2 record. We favor the Jags in this spot. Having played in London last weekend, they won’t have to deal with travel, giving them a significant advantage. They should keep this game close, regardless of how dominant the Bills have looked.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Baltimore Ravens

When these two teams face off, all preconceived notions about either squad should go out the window. The Steelers and Ravens have a deep-seated rivalry, and this game always brims with energy. Considering that, we like the home underdog, the Pittsburgh Steelers. While they’ve shown inconsistency and the Ravens have been performing well, this game is expected to be a close one. Consequently, we’ll take the points in a contest that should be decided in the final moments.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Houston Texans

Bijan Robinson has quickly become one of the league’s top running backs after only four career games. Although he has scored just once, Bijan is the focal point of the Falcons’ offense and has rushed for over 100 yards in two of his last three games. The Texans have allowed a league-high seven rushing touchdowns this season, making this a great value bet at +105 with the top online sportsbooks.

New Orleans Saints vs New England Patriots

Under normal circumstances, this game would project to be a low-scoring battle, but both defenses have been decimated by injuries, potentially opening up the offenses. Therefore, we’re betting on Chris Olave, the Saints’ top pass-catcher, to score his first touchdown of the season. Despite not finding the endzone yet this season, Olave has had three games with over 85 receiving yards this season, and he should get his first touchdown in this contest. At +220, it’s a worthy bet.

Miami Dolphins vs. New York Giants

These teams may be on opposite sides of the standings, but we still like the heavy underdogs in this matchup. While the Giants’ defense may struggle to contain Miami’s offense, Miami’s defense has given up over 33 points twice this season and should struggle against the Giants. A significant factor in this is the return of running back Saquon Barkley, who missed the past two weeks with an ankle injury. If he’s healthy, the Giants should be able to keep this game close and cover the spread.

Los Angeles Rams vs Philadelphia Eagles

D’Andre Swift was traded to the Eagles during the offseason and has quickly become a key part of their offense. He has scored a touchdown in two of the past three weeks and now faces a favorable matchup against a lackluster Rams defense. The Rams have allowed five rushing touchdowns through four games and have struggled against speedy running backs. At +105, we like Swift’s odds to score again and continue to solidify his place among the elite running backs.

Minnesota Vikings vs Kansas City Chiefs

This game is set up to be a very exciting one, with an over/under of 53 points. Both teams are expected to throw the ball a lot and that creates an opportunity for the Vikings’ rookie receiver, Jordan Addison, to have a big day. Addison has already scored two touchdowns this season and is becoming an integral part of the Vikings’ passing attack. At +240 with Bovada to score, it’s a tempting bet on someone with Addison’s ability.

San Francisco 49ers vs Dallas Cowboys

Week five’s Sunday Night showcase features a game between two Super Bowl contenders. The 4-0 San Francisco 49ers will host the 3-1 Dallas Cowboys in what should be a tightly contested matchup. Because of that, we’ll take the underdogs. Dallas had one bad week, but other than that, they’ve been dominant. While the Niners have yet to face a major challenge, this game will be their first big test, and we believe Dallas will be prepared.
