Washington didn’t look like anything resembling a playoff team when it got off to a 2-7 straight up and 3-5-1 against the spread start to the season. But with the NFC East up for grabs due to the terrible play around the division, Washington went on a surprising 4-0 SU and ATS run and finished its last seven games with a 5-2 SU and ATS record to secure the division’s top spot. The team’s defense allowed only 15.9 points per game over Washington’s last nine games.

Tom Brady’s move to Tampa Bay was one of the biggest stories of the 2020 offseason. The 43-year-old thrived with his new team throwing 40 touchdown passes (tied for second in the NFL) and 4,633 passing yards (third best in the NFL) while leading the Buccaneers to an 11-5 SU and 9-7 ATS record.
