IN this column we’re going to take a look at the biggest “idiots” in sports this June.
The one thing we love about sports is that you’re always going to find hilarious stories pop-up across Twitter and other social media sites.
Diddy swings kettlebell at UCLA strength and conditioning coach
We’re going to start with the biggest story in June, which has to be the P. Diddy vs. Sal Alosi.
It didn’t take long for “The Diddy Workout” to trend on Youtube – here’s one of the videos mocking the alleged assault:
#TakeThatTakeThat
TMZ broke the story – Diddy was angry because the UCLA strength coach (Alosi) was “riding” his son (Justin Combs) hard during a strength and conditioning session on June 22nd 2015. Diddy went into Alosi’s office and swung a kettlebell – narrowly missing Alosi.

Diddy was charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery – he posted $50,000 bail.
However, UCLA coaches have stated they don’t want to see Diddy prosecuted. Alosi has been in trouble in the past on numerous occasions and more stories have been coming out about him since the incident.
Here’s a video of “TripGate” from 2010 – Alosi allegedly told players to form a wall with him on the sidelines and a Dolphins player ended up getting hurt on the play. It was a disgusting tactic and one that got Alosi suspended from the Jets at the time.
At the same time, Diddy has to learn how to control himself, this isn’t the first time this year that he has swung on someone.
Combs has only played in six games in two years and he only has six tackles for UCLA in that time as a defensive end.
Diddy did his kid no favors by getting into it with Alosi, as Combs is likely to see no playing time in 2015 now. He may not have to begin with, but it’s almost a guarantee he’ll be looked over and his best bet is to transfer while he still has some eligibility. Some big name UCLA players have vocalised they want Combs back, but that doesn’t mean he’ll play much, if at all.
Diddy isn’t having much luck this year – he also just fell through a hole on the stage at the 2015 BET Awards on Sunday.
Les has another mess in Baton Rogue
“Les has a mess” at LSU again, as four players were arrested and then suspended indefinitely by the team in two separate incidents. Keep in mind, just because the players have been suspended, doesn’t mean they won’t be back after a month.
Miles has a horrible reputation for not disciplining his players.
So, don’t be surprised if at least some of these players are back before the season even begins.
The players that were arrested on Thursday include Anthony Jennings, Maquedius Bain, Dwayne Thomas and Trey Lealaimatafao – the biggest name on the list is clearly Jennings who was expected to win the starting QB again this season.
I don’t know what they put in gatorade in Baton Rogue, but they have way too many players getting arrested over the years.
Allegedly Jennings had some items stolen from his apartment and he filed a campus police report on June 10. However, he and some other individuals got information where the items might be and they decided to kick down the door to retrieve them.
Clearly, calling the campus police and providing the information would have been smart, but this is LSU we’re talking about.
I know these guys are young, but I’m not much older and there’s certain things you don’t do. Kicking down a door and taking items that are allegedly yours is one of those things you just don’t do under any circumstance.
Brandon Harris has to be happy, as he may end up getting to start the season as the #1 QB at LSU.

UPDATE: Lealaimatafao has been dismissed by the team for his arrest, which was a serious assault at a bar, but the other three players aren’t in nearly as much hot water. It’s only a matter of time before Jennings and the other two are back playing. Will we see another “Team Vote” this time around?
Going to be so many team votes at LSU this year, right? http://t.co/VvEUqUuk1F — Kevin McGuire (@KevinOnCFB) June 19, 2015
Sapp attacks again
Warren Sapp made headlines again recently and not for any type of good reason.
It wasn’t long ago when Sapp was charged with solicitation of a prostitute and assault during the 2015 NFL Super Bowl. He also lost his job with the NFL Network shortly after the arrest in January, but clearly he didn’t learn anything.
Now he’s back in the news, as he allegedly beat up his girlfriend, including stomping on her and biting her.
Getting stomped or even stepped on in the face by anyone isn’t pleasant, but when it’s Sapp and his size 15 sandals, you really have big problems. The giant clearly didn’t let the new allegations bother him, as he was seen partying this weekend.
Sapp supposedly had the same size 15 sandals on during his interrogation back in February.
Sapp was charged with three counts of domestic violence last Thursday, but he was at the 5th Annual University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame Celebrity Dolphin Tournament on Friday and he had no problems posing for pictures with the cheerleaders.
Nothing says I don’t care about abusing my girlfriend quite like this.
Sapp hasn’t released any official statement yet about the new charges, but it looks like it may be the last thing on his mind.
