The UFC returns from a four-week hiatus with a thrilling card taking place on UFC Fight Island in Abu Dhabi. The card is highlighted by a main event featherweight matchup between Max Holloway and Calvin Kattar, but there will be plenty of exciting events leading up to that one. Here’s a look at the rest of the main card this Saturday.

Carlos Condit (31-13-0) returned from a 22-month layoff in October to snap a five-fight losing streak with a decision win over Court McGee. Condit will try to pick up another win on Saturday against Matt Brown (22-17-0), who has won two of his last three fights since losing five of his previous six. This fight was supposed to happen in 2013 or 2018, but both of those were rescheduled due to Brown being injured. And so fight fans will finally get this fight with both fighters now past their prime. Still, it should be a fun one to watch. Condit is three months younger and the more decorated of the two fighters, but at this stage of their respective careers, not much is really separating them. Brown is worth a shot as the underdog in an unpredictable fight that could go any number of ways.

Santiago Ponzinibbio (27-3-0) was a rising star in the welterweight division before being sidelined by injuries. He returns from a hiatus of over two years on a seven-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Neil Magny back in November of 2018. Jingliang Li (17-6-0) lost to Magny last March but was 7-1 before that decision defeat. Li has never been knocked out and is certainly a live dog with a strong counter punch and no ring rust issues. Still, it’s hard to pick against Ponzinibbio; if he returns in the same form he left in, this is a fight he should win.

Alessio Di Chirico (12-5-0) is just 3-5 in the UFC with three straight losses. All of the momentum is in Buckley’s corner heading into this one; look for the exciting 26-year-old to pick up another highlight-reel knockout to extend his current winning streak to three.

This should be an awesome start to the main card as Dusko Todorovic (10-0-0) and Punahele Soriano (7-0-0) both put their undefeated records on the line. This is a tough one to call with so little tape on both of these fighters, as both have looked like solid well-rounded prospects to date. Forced to take a side, we’ll take the underdog odds in a fight between two guys who will be looking for a knockout.
