United States Grand Prix 2024: odds, predictions and race preview

Formula 1 is back for Round 19 with the Austin Grand Prix, following a month off.

The action starts with Free Practice 1 at 12:30pm CDT on Friday, October 18, and culminates in the race at 2:00pm CDT on Sunday, October 20.

Daniel Ricciardo, sidelined after the Singapore Grand Prix, has been replaced at Visa Cash App Racing by 22-year-old New Zealander Liam Lawson.

Lawson, who has filled in for Ricciardo before, will now compete with a full-time F1 contract for the first time.

All eyes are on Lawson as he lines up alongside teammate Yuki Tsunoda, and with Sergio Perez’s future uncertain, both drivers could be vying for a coveted seat at Red Bull Racing.
