Game One – 6pm PDT Tuesday, May 14 – Oracle Arena, Oakland

The NBA Western Conference Finals kick off this Tuesday and should be one of the best series in years.

The reigning NBA champions, Golden State Warriors, will host the Portland Trail Blazers in Game One of this incredible match-up.

Damian Lillard has led his Blazers from the beginning of his career, with this series being the most difficult challenge he has faced to date.

The Warriors will play a starting five similar to their 2015 side, including Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and, surprisingly, Andrew Bogut.

Kevin Durant was the best player for Golden State in the first half of the playoffs until he suffered a calf sprain late in Game Five against the Rockets, but the Warriors persevered and won the series.

DeMarcus Cousins is also still out injured with a quad complaint that has kept him sidelined since the first round.

The Trail Blazers are ready to pounce on the injury-plagued Warriors after proving their credentials by downing the Denver Nuggets in the semis.

Warriors vs Trail Blazers betting picks

Enes Kanter Over 14.5 Points – +188 at Bovada
With DeMarcus Cousins out for the Warriors, Enes Kanter has the opportunity to play tough basketball in the paint. The Blazers gave Kanter an average of 30 minutes per game against the Nuggets.

If Kanter gets 30 minutes against a side without their starting centre, he can easily tally over 14 points.

The absence of both Cousins and Kevin Durant means Green will need to guard the extremely aggressive Kanter, giving away size and height.

Draymond Green Over 10.5 Rebounds – +100 at Bovada
As stated previously, DeMarcus Cousins and Kevin Durant will not be playing in this match, giving Draymond the Green light to attack the rebounds.

In the final match against Houston that Durant missed, Green pulled down 10 rebounds, five more than his closest teammate.

That game only combined for 78 rebounds, whilst Portland’s Game Seven was 106. Draymond will grab plenty of rebounds if he gets over 100 opportunities.

Damian Lillard Over 39.5 Pts+Reb+Ast – -117.65 at Bovada
The best players stand up for their teams when they need it the most and Damian Lillard is the most obvious candidate in this game.

Lillard already averages 28 points and 6.5 assists per game against the Warriors.

Given this is the playoffs and Lillard will lift, you can see him scoring over 30 and finding his teammates more than seven times. When you include rebounds, he should easily exceed the 39.5 mark.

Portland Trail Blazers to Win – +263 at Bovada
We love the underdogs in this match and will be taking them at great odds.

Golden State have survived this long without their stars, but the Rockets are not the same team as the Trail Blazers.

Two of the best guards in the league in Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum will challenge Steph Curry and Klay Thompson like no one has before.
