Manchester United fell to a controversial 2-1 defeat to West Ham United in the English Premier League on Sunday afternoon at the London Stadium.
Despite dominating the opening half, the visitors were left to rue their missed chances when Dutch forward Crysencio Summerville came off the bench to score his first goal for the club in the 74th minute.
Although Casemiro headed in the equaliser seven minutes later, England forward Jarrod Bowen scored an injury-time winner from 12 yards to seal the result for the Hammers.
Manchester United were agitated after referee David Coote awarded the penalty following a collision between Matthijs de Ligt and Danny Ings, which came after VAR intervention.
Speaking after the match, United manager Erik ten Hag was disappointed with the penalty decision and his team’s missed scoring opportunities.
“Three times this season we feel injustice,” he said.
“We have to score, we created so many chances. We should’ve been two or three up.
“Second half we were forcing it but we allowed them into the game.
“When you are losing 1-0 you need big personality and character of the team and [they] showed resilience to get back into it. Unfair and unjust the way we conceded the penalty.”

Defeat leaves United 14th on the table with 11 points, a place behind West Ham who surpassed them with the victory.
West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui was a happy man after the final whistle.
“Happy for the three points,” he said.
We are happy for the fans and players, they deserve this victory after suffering a lot in the first half.
“Second half we changed different things and the first half was for them but the second was for us. We were able to compete better and win the match.”
