Matchweek 24 of the 2024-25 English Premier League has several thrilling encounters scheduled between Saturday and Monday, including the blockbuster clash between Arsenal and Manchester City. Below are our free soccer betting picks for this weekend’s EPL action.
Nottingham Forest v Brighton & Hove Albion
Saturday, February 1 – 12:30pm GMT – The City Ground
After being thrashed 5-0 by Bournemouth in their last outing, third-placed Nottingham Forest will be eager to bounce back against Brighton, who remain ninth even after losing to Everton. Despite imploding against the Cherries, the in-form hosts should make an immediate comeback against the Seagulls.
Nottingham Forest to win
Bournemouth v Liverpool
Saturday, February 1 – 3pm GMT – Vitality Stadium
Top of the English Premier League and UEFA Champions League tables, high-flying Liverpool will look to maintain their dominance when they take on seventh-placed Bournemouth. Cody Gakpo scored his 14th goal of the campaign against PSV, and online bookmakers are offering decent odds of +200 for the Dutch forward to hit the mark again.
Cody Gakpo anytime goalscorer
Everton v Leicester City
Saturday, February 1 – 3pm GMT – Goodison Park
Everton are 16th on the EPL table, while Leicester City are six points behind them in 17th place. Given the high number of draws this fixture has produced, another stalemate is probable.
Draw
Ipswich Town v Southampton
Saturday, February 1 – 3pm GMT – Portman Road
Second from bottom after suffering three consecutive defeats, Ipswich Town will look to bolster their chances of survival when they face bottom-placed Southampton. Unbeaten in their last three meetings, with two wins and a draw, back the Tractor Boys to secure maximum points against the vulnerable Saints.
Ipswich Town to win
Newcastle United v Fulham
Saturday, February 1 – 3pm GMT – St James’ Park
Newcastle are fifth having won seven of their last nine EPL games, while Fulham are 10th with just two victories over the same period. The Magpies have been dominant at St James’ Park, so expect them to secure a win in front of their charged home crowd.
Newcastle United to win
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Aston Villa
Saturday, February 1 – 5:30pm GMT – Molineux Stadium
After hitting a snag with draws against Arsenal and West Ham, eighth-placed Aston Villa be yearning to get back on track against Wolves, who are in the danger zone. Into the last 16 of the Champions League, back Unai Emery’s confident men to secure a third consecutive win over Wolverhampton.
Aston Villa to win
Brentford v Tottenham Hotspur
Sunday, February 2 – 2pm GMT – Gtech Community Stadium
Brentford are 11th on the table with 31 points, while Tottenham are four places below them with seven fewer points. Although Spurs have largely dominated this fixture, expect the Bees to find a way through their guests’ notoriously leaky defence at some stage.
Tottenham to win / Both teams to score
Manchester United v Crystal Palace
Sunday, February 2 – 2pm GMT – Old Trafford
Manchester United, in 12th, will be hoping to move higher up the EPL ladder when they take on Crystal Palace, who are just one position behind. Amad Diallo has scored four goals in his last four Premier League games for United, and the top soccer betting sites are offering tempting odds of +260 for the Ivorian to extend his tally.
Amad Diallo anytime goalscorer
Arsenal v Manchester City
Sunday, February 2 – 4:30pm GMT – Emirates Stadium
Arsenal, in second, face a daunting task against defending champions Manchester City, who have clawed their way to fourth with four wins from their last five EPL games. With the Citizens boosted by reinforcements acquired during the January transfer window, there is every chance this win end in a third successive draw between the sides.
Draw
Chelsea v West Ham United
Monday, February 3 – 8pm GMT – Stamford Bridge
Chelsea slipped to sixth after losing to Manchester City in their last outing, while West Ham are 14th following their 1-1 draw with Aston Villa. Nicolas Jackson bagged a brace against the Hammers during the first half of the season, and leading bookie Bovada is paying +125 for the Blues forward to hit the back of the net again.
Nicolas Jackson anytime goalscorer
