There is not much separating the top few in outright betting for IPL 2025, which starts this weekend.
Cricket bookmakers have three clear favourites to win the 2025 IPL, which starts on Saturday, with Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings leading betting markets.
Mumbai (+400) are slight favourites across most T20 betting sites despite having finished 10th in the 2024 season.
The five-time champions have local stars Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav, as well as overseas recruits Trent Boult and Mitchell Santner.

Sunrisers finished runners-up in last year’s competition and have retained many of the same players, with Travis Head, Pat Cummins and Heinrich Klaasen their key imports.
