Iga Swiatek will take on Amanda Anisimova in the 2025 Wimbledon final on Saturday, and both will be chasing career-firsts. The former is yet to lift the trophy in London, while the latter is eyeing off a maiden Grand Slam title.

This contest is a fascinating matchup on paper, with plenty of betting value across tennis bookmakers for those who know where to look. Read on for our breakdown and best bets

Amanda Anisimova v Iga Swiatek preview

Few expected Swiatek and Anisimova to be the last two standing at SW19 this year. The Pole has not won a title since June 2024, while she’s made one quarter-final at Wimbledon in five previous attempts. Anisimova, on the other hand, lost in qualifying here last year and was ranked outside the world’s top 400 at the beginning of 2024.

Despite this, the last fortnight Swiatek has looked like her former, consistent self, while Anisimova has played the kind of high-aggression tennis that led to her knocking out the betting favorite, Aryna Sabalenka.

Saturday’s matchup is a contrast of styles. Swiatek will track down balls, move well and defend astutely, using this strength to flip defence into attack. Anisimova’s approach will be more blunt: out-hit Swiatek, muscling her way through from the back of the court.

That style worked against Sabalenka, but we have seen it unravel against Swiatek time and time again. Given the occasion — and the release Anisimova’s victory over Sabalenka must have been — expect a one-sided contest where a cool-headed Swiatek races to Grand Slam number six.

Top picks for Wimbledon 2025 women’s final

Swiatek is priced at a fair -125 to win under 12.5 games. This will pay if the 24-year-old rolls through this clash with ease, while it also provides a little insurance on the off-chance Anisimova plays out of her skin and wins too.

Backing Swiatek to move through in straight sets pays slightly higher — +110 at — and leaves plenty of margin for tiebreakers, should both women serve well.

But the most value sits with backing Swiatek to really run away with this one, as tennis betting apps have her at +200 to win in under 19.5 games. A respectable 6-4, 6-3 would still make this bet pay — an outcome that feels highly achievable considering she just ran past Belinda Bencic 6-2, 6-0 and has only been pushed beyond 20 games once this tournament.
