Here are some of our favorite baseball betting MLB picks for Saturday’s slate of games.

Cincinnati Reds (+1.5, +200 ML) @ Los Angeles Dodgers (-1.5, -250 ML)

Pitching matchup : Hunter Green vs Julio Urias

Controversy surrounded the Dodgers a couple of days ago when manager Dave Roberts pulled Clayton Kershaw after seven perfect innings due to Kershaw’s pitch count to start the season. This has only been done once before when Rich Hill was pulled after seven perfect innings in 2016 by none other than Roberts. If the Dodgers can get that version of Kershaw this year, they only become that much more unfair.

The Dodgers have looked every bit as scary as they looked on paper. With Mookie Betts, Trea Turner, Justin Turner, Max Muncy, and now Freddie Freeman, they might be the most unstoppable offense in the majors which has been proven in the first seven games of the season. The Dodgers are 4-2 before Friday’s game versuss the Reds.

The Reds on the other hand, might be a little bit overmatched here. Rookie pitcher Hunter Greene will have a tough task in his second career start by facing this lethal Dodger offense. The over under for this game is set at 9.5 which seems a bit high. The Dodgers Moneyline and the under gives +161 odds.

Arizona Diamondbacks (+1.5, +115 ML) @ New York Mets (-1.5, -135 ML)

Pitching matchup : Zac Gallen vs Carlos Corrasco

The D-Backs may have peaked already this season, after a crazy walk-off home run on Opening Day, the Arizona has only managed to win one other game thus far. The Diamondbacks look to be in for a pretty long season but Gallen is no slouch. The New Jersey native pitched to a 2.75 ERA two years ago but struggled to repeat that magic last season as he finished with a 4.30 ERA which still isn’t that bad.

This will be Gallen’s first start of 2022 due to a household accident where he cut his thumb, after originally being slated to start against the Astros earlier this week so expect Gallen to be on a pretty strict pitch count.

So far, the Mets have gotten off to a pretty hot start. They won their first two series against the Nationals and Phillies and now match up against the worst team in baseball last season. The Mets Moneyline seems like a good play here.

Philadelphia Phillies (-1.5, -125 ML) @ Miami Marlins (+1.5, +105 ML)

Pitching matchup : Ranger Suarez vs Trevor Rogers

We’re going to keep riding with the Marlins against the Phillies, it’s almost a guarantee that at the end of the year you will have extra money in the bank. It is clear that the Phillies struggle against the Marlins, specifically in Miami. The Phillies are now 21-28 against the Marlins since 2019 and 10-17 in Miami. It feels like Rogers has owned the Phillies in his career.

With the Phillies offense being dead once again on Thursday and everything mentioned above, the Marlins at plus odds will always be the play when they’re playing the Phillies.
