Mathare United returned back to winning ways after a deserving 2-0 win over AFC Leopards on Saturday afternoon at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. The score sheet remained goalless for much of the encounter up until Francis Kimanzi worked his magic with the substitutions.

Having began the day on the bench, the attacking duo of Ronald Reagan and Tyson Otieno stepped on the turf in the second half to secure all three points with strikes towards the tail end of the match.
