Sunrisers Hyderabad betting

Sunrisers betting

Sunrisers Hyderabad have been one of best-performed sides in the Indian Premier League since entering the competition in 2013.

The side, previously-led by David Warner, has been a consistent finals threat and will look to return to the finals and return to the glory of their 2016 title.

The side has good think-tank in Head Coach Tom Moody and Mentor VVS Laxman — a duo that has seen the franchise scale new heights in last few years.

Hyderabad did manage to sign in-form players like Manish Pandey, Carlos Brathwaite and Shakib Al Hasan for this year’s competition.

How will the Sunrisers Hyderabad go in 2018?

David Warner and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were the only two players retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad for this year’s competition.

But Warner’s time in the IPL came to an abrupt end after the recent ball-tampering saga that saw him suspended from Australian cricket for 12 months. The Sunrisers decided to extend that suspension to the IPL for 2018 and have turned to New Zealander Kane Williamson to lead the side in his absence.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s biggest strength is their top order as Shikhar Dhawan, Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey are included in the setup for the coming season. Dhawan has been in excellent form for India at the top of the innings this season. The left-hander will be keen to produce greater consistency with the bat in order to help Sunrisers go the distance in this year’s competition.

Kane Williamson is a big player for Sunrisers in the batting department. New Zealand batsman has done well for the franchise last season and will be keen to a do bulk of scoring at the top of the innings.

Hyderabad have plenty of all-rounders in their squad for this year’s competition. Mohammad Nabi, Deepak Honda, and Bipul Sharmaare all capable of delivering with bat and ball.

Shakib Al Hasan will be a good addition to the franchise as the all-rounder has produced scintillating performances for Bangladesh in the last couple of years. Shakib played for Kolkata Knight Riders in the previous edition of the Indian Premier League.

Another big player signed by Sunrisers is West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite, who will be keen to play a proactive role for the side in this year’s competition. Brathwaite has not been able to maintain his form with the bat and ball after his heroics in the 2016 T20 World Cup final against England.

Wriddhiman Saha is the first-choice keeper for the franchise for the coming season. In the bowling department, Sunrisers Hyderabad have a top quality pace option in Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who topped the bowling charts in the last two seasons. Kumar has been excellent with the new ball and provided early breakthroughs for the side. He has improved a lot and does execute his variations with perfection at the back end of an innings.

In 2017 Indian Premier League, Leg-spinner Rashid Khan did well in his first stint with Sunrisers Hyderabad. Rashid has gained a lot of recognition and fame and was part of the Adelaide Strikers side that won the Big Bash League this year. The Afghanistan-born player will be keen to continue good form with the ball in this year’s competition.
