Southampton did enough to split the points with title contenders Manchester United last week, albeit against an underperforming United side. We expect this to be a tight tussle with points to be shared – potentially in a 0-0 draw – at St James’ Park.

Brighton v Everton

One of the surprise packets in the opening fortnight of the EPL season has been Brighton, scoring a total of four goals while shipping just one in their wins over Burnley and Watford. Everton have shown similar attacking prowess, netting five goals from their first two matches, but have also conceded three in the meantime. We expect this to be one of the more entertaining matches of the weekend, with both teams expected to find the back of the net.
