ESL Pro League Season 15 betting picks – Wednesday, March 9

ESL Pro League esports betting

BettingPlanet brings you free Counter-Strike: Global Offensive picks for three ESL Pro League Season 15 matches on Wednesday, March 9. Here are our selections for G2 Esports vs LookingForOrg, Entropiq vs MOUZ, and Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Fnatic, with top odds courtesy of Bovada.

G2 Esports vs LookingForOrg

IEM Katowice 2022 finalists, G2 Esports, will kick off their quest for the ESL Pro League Season 15 title with a clash against LookingForOrg, in what promises to be an extremely one-sided affair. Priced at -10000, G2 Esports’ implied probability of winning is 98.5% which might sound absurdly high, but it’s a fair number.

There is no hiding the fact that G2 are significantly stronger than L4Org, who have attended four events in 2022 and haven’t won a single one. They claimed only one match across the two Pinnacle Winter Series events, placed 13th-15th at Elisa Invitational Winter 2021 and crashed out of PGL Major Antwerp Asia-Pacific open qualifiers in fourth place.

Furthermore, Looking4Org are 3-7 across their last ten outings and 6-11 since the turn of the year, which isn’t great, and it doesn’t help to learn that out of those 17 opponents, not a single was a top-tier team. There is no reason to believe L4Org can compete with G2 Esports, who should win both maps with at least eight rounds to spare.

Entropiq vs Mouz

Entropiq’s recent results aren’t that great, and their only noteworthy achievement of 2022 was a runner-up finish at Funspark ULTI 2021 in January. Since then, the Russian squad placed 17th-20th at IEM Katowice and produced two top-eight finishes at Pinnacle Winter Series #2 and Elisa Invitational Winter 2021.

Despite their iffy showings, this is a strong team with a very high ceiling, so we would not underestimate them at important tournaments. MOUZ enter this bout as favourites, which sounds fair considering they defeated Entropiq (2-0) at IEM Katowice three weeks ago with 16-14 on Vertigo and 16-6 on Ancient.

Still, one victory doesn’t assure us that MOUZ will be as good on Wednesday, nor does it explain why they are priced at only -151.52. The CS:GO betting odds on this match should be much closer to even money, so we have to side with Entropiq.

Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Fnatic

Without Owen “smooya” Butterfield, who got benched from the team at the end of February and Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin, who is reportedly nearing the exit doors, Fnatic’s chances to make a deep run at ESL Pro League Season 15 are very slim. We already got to see how weak Fnatic are without the two players during the PGL Major Antwerp European open qualifiers, where the black-and-orange struggled against Tier-2 teams.

Ninjas in Pyjamas are not one of the main candidates to win the ESL Pro League trophy, but they’re evidently in a much better spot than Fnatic. Even without Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, NiP reached the final eight in Poland and should be set for another deep run here.

Fnatic still has some solid pieces left, but this is an incomplete roster, fielding with two academy players. There’s a world where Fnatic win one map, but they’re just as likely to lose 0-2.
