The Houston Texans have won four of their last five games and now head east in NFL Week 11 to face the high-flying Baltimore Ravens, who are riding a five-game winning streak.

This is a matchup with two of the best young quarterbacks in the league in Houston’s Deshawn Watson and Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson, who have both worked their way into the MVP conversation.

Both teams are in first place in their respective divisions and the Ravens currently have the second seed in the AFC. In their five-game win streak they are putting up an average of 33 points per game. They have not played cream puffs either, beating the Seattle Seahawks and handing the New England Patriots their only loss of the season.

The Texans are coming off a dominant 26-3 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in their last game and should be well rested after the bye last week. The Ravens, meanwhile, blew out the Cincinnati Bengals 49-13 with Jackson starring yet again.

Houston allowed 356 total yards in their win over Jacksonville but held the Jags to only 74 yards while forcing four turnovers. Watson passed for 201 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions, taking his tally for the last two games to five touchdowns and no picks. He has a solid WR corps led by DeAndre Hopkins (665 yards, 4 TD) and Will Fuller V (450 yards, 3 TD) and his offensive line is doing much better at protecting him than they did last season when Houston led the NFL in sacks allowed.

Carlos Hyde leads the Texans in rushing yards and went big in the win over the Jags, rushing for 160 yards. He has rushed for at least 83 yards in three of his last four games.

Baltimore have looked solid defending the run but only rank 20th defending the pass, which is a concern with Watson coming to town. And while the run D has been there for the Ravens on the season, they did give up 157 rushing yards in their last game.

The Ravens only had 379 total yards in their big win over the Bengals, but they scored early and often. They jumped out to a 28-10 halftime lead and scored all 49 points in the first three quarters.

Jackson passed for 223 yards with three touchdowns and no picks against Cincinnati and rushed for 65 yards and a score. His 47-yard TD was one for the ages and has made every highlight reel in the country. He had a perfect passer rating in the game and has the NFL’s fourth best QBR.

Baltimore have the NFL’s top-ranked rushing offense and Jackson ranks 11th in the league in rushing yards. The Ravens have also had good production from RB Mark Ingram, who ranks 12th in the league in rushing yards.

The Texans boast one of the best run defenses around, ranking third in the league, and that will be key against Jackson and the Ravens. However, their pass defense has struggled on the season, only ranking 29th.

While the Ravens have failed to cover the spread in six of their last seven home games, that trend will not continue. Even facing a stout Houston run defense, Jackson and company will get it done on the ground and the Baltimore D will keep Watson and the Texans offense from having a big game. The Ravens will win and cover, thus extending their win streak to six games.
