Kambi signs partnership deal with Ondiss in Argentina

Kambi Group, a sports betting provider, has signed a multi-year partnership with gaming platform Ondiss which will allow the company to provide its industry-leading sportsbook to at least three operators in Argentine provinces.

Kambi Group Plc is a business-to-business service provider that offers sports betting options to licensed business-to-consumer gaming companies. The company offers a software platform that comes complete with a front-end user interface, odds compilation, consumer intelligence, and risk mitigation.

In accordance with the terms of the agreement, Kambi will supply its sportsbook technology and services to at least three operators on the Ondiss network in Argentina. These three operators are BetWarrior, Casino Magic, and Casino Club. In the future, there may also be the possibility of adding more operators.

Kambi’s CEO and co-founder, Kristian Nylén, said: “The Latin American market continues to hold great promise for Kambi, so I am delighted to sign this exclusive agreement with Ondiss to support these visionary operators across Argentina.”

With the help of this partnership, Kambi plans to significantly increase its presence in the country and increase the number of provinces in which it operates from the current three to as many as seven in the coming months.

In the first quarter of 2021, Kambi formed a partnership with Casino Magic in the province of Neuquén. Subsequently, in the fourth quarter of that same year, the company entered into a new agreement with BetWarrior in Argentina. With this most recent collaboration, it became the first sports betting service to simultaneously operate in both the city of Buenos Aires province and the province of Buenos Aires province after the implementation of new legislative changes.

“BetWarrior and Casino Magic have proven fantastic partners for Kambi since going live and we look forward to working with the two brands, as well as Casino Club, even more closely as they look to build on their already strong position in the market,” Nylén continued.

BetWarrior CMO Santiago Gándara said: “This new agreement strengthens the successful relationship we have shared with Kambi since the launch of BetWarrior, and will empower us to continue reinforcing our leadership in Argentina through the different brands and products that we operate together.”

Casino Club, which will be partnering with Kambi for the first time, operates a number of gaming properties all over Argentina and plans to launch its sports betting service in the province of Misiones later on this year.

Kambi stated in a press release a month ago that it had no plans to slow down its expansion across Latin America. In the company’s second-quarter earnings call, Nylén highlighted Brazil as a “big focus” for the company.
