MaximBet enters Pennsylvania & Ohio sports betting markets

MaximBet sports betting news

MaximBet, the sports betting brand born out of the partnership between Carousel Group and premier men lifestyle brand Maxim, has announced new deals that grant it market access in two more regulated US states.

In its statement, the brand revealed that it had secured a partnership that would see it launch its flagship sportsbook app in Ohio when the market is legalized in the state. In addition to the Buckeye State deal, the company also stated that it would be launching its iGaming platform in Pennsylvania, thanks to a separate agreement with Caesars Entertainment.

The announcement comes just three weeks after the brand relaunched in Colorado, where the operator says that the sportsbook was off to an impactful start after reporting a record handle on the first weekend of the NFL season.

The sportsbook was known as SportsBetting.com before rebranding to MaximBet, and Colorado was its first regulated market when it first launched in the US in September 2020. The operator’s license in the state is tied to Johnny Nolon’s Casino in Cripple Creek.

MaximBet now operating in six US states

The latest deals announced by MaximBet brings the number of states in which the brand has market access to six.

After the successful debut in the Centennial State, the operator is working on launching its sports betting platform in New Jersey, Indiana, and Iowa via its multi-state agreement with Las Vegas-based gambling giant Caesars Entertainment.

The operator has also revealed that the agreement with Caesars will extend to Pennsylvania, where it plans to offer iGaming before launching its online sportsbook app.

The sixth state is Ohio, although it is yet to pass legislation authorizing sports betting. However, MaximBet has not revealed which of the state’s casino or racetracks will facilitate its license in the jurisdiction when the industry is legalized.

The sportsbook also had its eyes on the newly legalized Arizona market, but its license application in partnership with the White Mountain Apache Tribe was not approved by the ADG.

In addition to the six US States, Carousel Group and Maxim have plans to enter the Canadian market now that single-event wagering is legal in the country.

MaximBet aiming to deliver unique experience

In its press statement about the new market access agreements, MaximBet stressed that its objective is to deliver the “best experience” to its sportsbook and online casino players by providing them with access to matchless experiences that only a lifestyle brand can offer.

“For every new market we enter, our sole focus is on bringing the best experience to the customers by providing them not only with a world-class sportsbook and casino, but also with access to invaluable experiences that only a lifestyle brand can provide,” said the brand’s CEO, Daniel Graetzer.

“We are excited about the efficiencies this scale brings to our business and we look forward to additional market access arrangements in the near future.”

True to its word, MaximBet is giving Colorado players a chance to win a fully paid weekend trip to the Super Bowl in Los Angeles in February next year, as well as a chance to meet with famous stars and celebrities at an invite-only Halloween Party in Denver on October 30.
