The pressure is now firmly on the Spurs. They were in a winning position in Game 1, but their offence dried up late, their ball movement became too predictable, and New York found a way to drag the contest into Brunson’s preferred half-court grind.

Wembanyama should be better in Game 2, but the Knicks deserve credit for making his night awkward.
