The juggernauts of recent years have had less-than-perfect starts to the week-old season. Golden State (2-1) experienced a shock-loss to a surging Denver (3-0) on Sunday, Houston (1-2) has struggled to recapture last season’s dominant regular season form so far and the Oklahoma City Thunder (0-3) already look at risk of missing out on playoffs if Russell Westbrook can’t return to full fitness quickly.
Lebron James’ new start in Los Angeles has got off to a shaky start at 0-2 and took a turn towards the bizarre on Sunday after watching new teammate Rajon Rondo and old friend Chris Paul throwing jibes, fists and even dangerously-placed fingers at one another in a spiteful clash against Houston.
Despite the crazy start, seasoned NBA punters know that the 82-game season is certainly not a sprint, but a marathon that plays out over six long months.
So, while some betting markets swing wildly after early results, there is betting value for punters who expect some normality to resume in a big slate of matches on Monday.
Let’s take a look at our NBA parlay tips.

We kick things off with Orlando traveling to Boston, which has started the season in indifferent form and will be keen to make a statement on its home court against a lowly Eastern Conference rival.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have had the league’s worst defence through their opening three games of the season, allowing a staggering 125 points per game so far. With the typically defence-orientated Tom Thibodeau in charge, we’re expecting a much stronger effort from the Wolves in this one — the game against Indiana will fall well below the over/under of 224.5 points.
While the San Antonio Spurs will be no push-over, it’s time for Lebron James to register his first victory as a Laker. We expect a big showing from the King and high-octane victory for the men in purple and gold.
To cap things off, Utah to beat Memphis (at -625) and Golden State to beat Phoenix (at -909.09) are nice little odds boosters.
Happy punting.
