College Football Week 4 betting tips:
All games in parlay are on Saturday, September 22
Texas A&M to cover +27 at -111.11
Mississippi State to cover -10 at -111.11
Georgia vs. Missouri Over at -111.11
Combined parlay total at +470 with 888 Sportsbook
Leg 1 – Texas A&M vs. Alabama
Ok, so Alabama is the top ranked team in the nation and in their last game they were on the road and they crushed Ole Miss beating them 62-7. All three of their wins have been big-time blowouts, they are averaging 56.7 ppg, and their scoring defense ranks eighth in the nation only giving up an average of 0.3 ppg. They are also at home in this game and Texas A&M is the pick?
Texas A&M is 2-1 and on the road in this tough SEC matchup, but their one loss on the season was only by two points to second ranked Clemson. The Aggies are a very balanced squad ranking 25th in the nation in passing yards per game, tied for 9th in rushing yards per game, and 21st giving up an average of 15 ppg.
Texas A&M is 4-1 ATS in their last five road games while Alabama is 1-4 in their five SEC games. Last season the Aggies were at home facing the Tide and only lost by eight points playing solid defense. A&M will not win this game, but they will not be blown out either, which is why the smart money is for them to cover the huge spread.
Tip: Boise State to cover (+27) at -111.11 with Bovada
Leg 2 – Mississippi State vs. Kentucky
Kentucky is at home and they already beat a ranked team this season and they are still giving 10 points in this game. Mississippi State is the 14th ranked team in the nation and they have three blowouts in their three wins. One of those games was facing a solid Kansas State team on the road. MSU ranks 5th in the nation in rushing yards per game and they are averaging 50 ppg.
While Kentucky is undefeated this game may show how good they are. They did beat a ranked Florida team snapping their long losing streak against them, but the Gators are in a down season. Like the Bulldogs the Wildcats are led by their run game, which ranks 11th in the nation averaging 282.3 rushing yards per game.
The main reason that Mississippi State will win and cover is their run defense. They rank 13th in the nation defending the run and Kentucky ranks 40th.
Tip: Mississippi State to cover (-10) at -111.11 with Bovada
Leg 3 – Georgia vs. Missouri
Both Georgia and Missouri are unbeaten and the Bulldogs are the 2nd ranked team in the nation. UGA has only given up 24 points on the season and they will be facing a Missouri offense that is averaging 44.3 ppg. It all starts with quarterback Drew Lock for the Tigers leading Mizzou and their fourth ranked passing offense.
Both of these teams can light up the scoreboard and last season Georgia beat Missouri 53-28. Look for the same thing to happen this season as well. The Bulldogs will light up the scoreboard and while the defense will play pretty good they will not keep the Tigers from putting up points. Add those things up and the Over is definitely the pick in this SEC battle.
Tip: Over 64.5 points at -111.11 with Bovada
