Kentucky is the ranked team in this matchup, but still road underdogs. The Wildcats have beaten two ranked teams, have a great rushing offense, and are tied for third in the nation giving up an average of 12.6 points per game.
Texas A&M already has two losses, but it came against, then, second ranked Clemson, and top-ranked Alabama. The Aggies have a very balanced offense and defense team and one big key for them is their run defense, which ranks sixth in the nation.
Interesting that this is the first ever meeting between these two teams since Texas A&M did not join the SEC until a couple of years ago. The Aggies will not allow the Wildcats to rack up the rushing yards, so the Kentucky offense will struggle to put up points. While UK does have a good defense, they will not be able to handle A&M.
Tip: Texas A&M to cover -5.5 at -111.11 with Nags.bet
Notre Dame is the 6th ranked team in the nation and they have beaten two ranked teams this season. In their last game they took out 7th ranked Stanford 38-17 where the Fighting Irish outgained the Cardinal 550 to 229 and stuffed the run. Notre Dame is balanced and Ian Book has taken over the quarterback job and played well with six touchdowns and no interceptions in his two starts.
Virginia Tech is ranked in the top 25, but should they be? They did beat a ranked Duke team in their last game, but the Blue Devils are far from elite and the Hokies one loss this season was to Old Dominion, in a shocker, where they gave up 49 points.
Book has looked great since taking over the starting job under center and he will be facing a Tech pass defense that only ranks 122nd in the nation. Look for him to have a big game and for the Notre Dame defense to shut down the Hokies. The Fighting Irish will stay undefeated in this game easily beating Virginia Tech and covering the spread.
Tip: Notre Dame to cover -5.5 at -111.11 with Nags.bet
Maryland is coming off a win in their last game, but they are double-digit underdogs facing a ranked Michigan team on the road. However, let’s talk about the total for the game, which has to be Over.
Michigan has won four in a row after their season opening loss to Notre Dame. They rank 1st in the nation in scoring defense and tied for 34th in points per game.
Maryland put up 42 points in their last game and have scored at least 42 in two of their last three games. Kind of hard to pick the Over with Michigan having the top-ranked defense in the nation, but that is the pick. The total is set at 53 and Michigan has won the last two games facing Maryland in blowouts and the last time they played them at home in the 2016 season the Wolverines beat the Terrapins 59-3.
Tip: Maryland vs. Michigan Over 53 points at -111.11 with Nags.bet [rm_recent_news tags=”college football,NCAA” exclude_tags=”LSU Tigers” title=”Latest football odds, news and tips” ajax=”true”]
