The NFL 2024 season continues with a 12-match slate this Sunday, headlined by a blockbuster clash between the Detroit Lions and Houston Texans. Here are our top betting picks for Week 10.
Ranked third in the NFL for all-purpose yards, running back Alvin Kamara has been a clear bright spot in a disappointing season for the Saints. With Derek Carr back under centre last Sunday, Kamara had a season-high 215 total yards. Kamara has had over 100 total yards in each of Carr’s five full games this season, and with New Orleans’ extensive injury report, expect him to continue receiving plenty of opportunities.
After a slow first week for the Chiefs, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins put together a game-winning performance last Monday night against the Buccaneers. With 86 receiving yards and two touchdowns, Hopkins found an excellent connection with quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Against a Broncos defense that conceded 41 points last week, back Hopkins to find the endzone once again at the value price of +200 with Nags.bet.
After a pair of losses halted their momentum, the Vikings got back on track with a win over the Colts last Sunday. Minnesota quarterback Sam Darnold threw for three touchdowns in that game, taking his total to 17 for the season. Facing the Jags, who have the second-worst defensive record in the NFL, back Darnold to continue his good form with three or more passing touchdowns once again at +300 with top NFL bookmakers.
The best defensive team in the NFL, the Los Angeles Chargers have won their last two games by 17 and 18 points, respectively. As they welcome the 2-6 Titans, expect the Chargers’ strong form to continue. Tennessee have the third worst offensive record in the NFL, while they’ve been beaten by over 20 points in two of their last three games.
On a run of four straight wins, the Eagles enter this week as substantial favourites against the Cowboys. Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts has been in excellent form, putting up six touchdowns in the last three weeks. With Dallas conceding an average of 35 points per game over the same period, backing Hurts to find the endzone is one of the safest tips of the week.
Week 10’s headline act is a clash between two sides filled with offensive talent. However, no one is in better form than Texans running back Joe Mixon, who has rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown in each of his last four games. With star receivers Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs missing from the lineup, back Mixon to rush for over 100 yards once again at +215 with leading sports betting sites.
