Week 5 of the NFL season continues this Sunday with an exciting 12-match slate across four time slots. Below are our best bets for across the day:
One of the biggest surprises of the season so far has been the form of new Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold. The former Panther leads the league in touchdowns with 11 in four games, already combining with six different teammates in the endzone.
Averaging 120 rushing yards per game to start the season, Ravens running back Derrick Henry is having an excellent start in Baltimore. He has been particularly impressive in the last two weeks, with 350 yards coming against playoff contenders the Bills and the Cowboys. The Bengals have allowed 145 yards per game, and Henry should capitalise on their poor run defence.
After a slow start to the season, Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin has found a connection with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, combining for 152 yards and two touchdowns over the last two weeks. Facing the struggling Browns, expect this connection to continue, with McLaurin finding the endzone once again.
After securing a win over the previously undefeated Steelers last Sunday, the Colts should be confident of their performance under back quarterback Joe Flacco. Facing the winless Jaguars, who rank in the bottom five for both points scored and allowed, they offer great value as an underdog at $2.25 with Nags.bet.
After suffering their first defeat of the season to the Lions last Monday, expect the Seahawks to bounce back strongly against the Giants. New York have won just one game, with quarterback Daniel Jones struggling to command the offense once again. Seattle quarterback Geno Smith leads the NFL in passing yards, while the offense ranks in the top 10 in the NFL, which suggests they will be able to pile on a big score to cover the line.
Steelers quarterback Justin Fields has had a solid start to life in Pittsburgh, sitting 3-1 to start the season. Offering a threat both in the air and on the ground, Fields has scored three rushing touchdowns in his last two games. Dallas have already allowed seven rushing touchdowns this year, so back Fields to score at +162 with top online bookmakers.
