Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons

After losing six games in a row, the Falcons have won their last two. Both of those wins came against good teams in the New Orleans Saints and the Carolina Panthers, with the latter game ending in a resounding 29-3 result.
The Bucs are coming off a bad loss to the Saints and have lost five of their last six games. They have the passing offense and the run defense, but they have the second-worst pass defense in the NFL and their run game has been less than stellar on the season.

Matt Ryan leads an Atlanta team that ranks third in the NFL in passing yards per game. He passed for 311 yards in the win over Carolina in his last game.
The home team has covered the spread in the last four games between these teams, and look for that trend to continue. Ryan will have a big game and the Bucs’ defense will struggle as usual. Take Atlanta to cover in this NFC South matchup and win their third game in a row.

Detroit Lions at Washington Redskins

The Redskins are on the way to another high draft pick, as they only have one win and have lost their last four games. In the first two games their offense let them down and in their last two games they gave up a total of 58 points.
The Lions have lost three in a row and have missed starting quarterback Matthew Stafford in the last two. He is listed as ‘week-to-week’, so he is a question mark for this game.
In their last game the Redskins were at home and lost 34-17 to the New York Jets, who rank dead last in the league on offense. The Skins rank 22nd in the NFL on defense, while the Lions are even lower at 30th.
Even with backup QB Jeff Driskel playing the last two games, the Lions have scored 47 points in the two losses. Look for a high-scoring game in this one, especially from Detroit.

Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills

Over/under: 37.5
The Bills are 7-3 on the back of beating the teams they should beat. Their seven wins have come against weak teams, while two of their three losses have come against good teams.
The Broncos have lost three of their last four games and had their last game against the Vikings in the bag before shipping 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to lose 27-23. They are down to their backup QB in Brandon Allen and the team only ranks 27th in the NFL on offense with 17.2 ppg.

The Buffalo defense has led the team on the season, but the Bills did put up 37 points in their last game facing the Dolphins, who had won two in a row.
The Bills’ defense will dominate in this game at home as Buffalo notch their eighth win and easily cover the spread.
