The Paris 2024 Olympic Games continue this Sunday, July 28, and there are plenty of medals up for grabs. Here are our best bets for Day 2.
Skateboarding: Women’s Street Final
Brazilian skater Rayssa Leal enters the Olympics in fantastic form. The 16-year-old is the top-ranked street skater over the past two years and has finished top two in five out of eight events in 2024. She won the silver medal back in Tokyo, so back her to go one better at +175 with leading skateboarding bookmakers.

Canoe Slalom: Women’s Kayak Single Final
Entering as the world No.1, Australia’s Jessica Fox is expected to continue her stellar recent form. After winning this event at the World Championships in 2023, the 30-year-old is now a five-time winner in the K1 format. She is a three-time Olympic medallist in this event, so back Fox to earn victory as the favourite at -117.65 with top Olympic bookmakers.

Swimming: Women’s 100m Butterfly Final
Although American pair Gretchen Walsh (-163.93) and Torri Huske (+250) are earning most of the headlines coming into this event, keep an eye out for Canadian swimmer Maggie Mac Neil. The 24-year-old burst onto the scene in Tokyo to secure the gold medal and has since gone on to win gold at the Commonwealth Games and Pan American Games. She has the third-fastest time of the season and offers great value to win a medal at +280.

Swimming: Men’s 100m Breaststroke Final
In an event that has been dominated by Great Britain’s Adam Peaty since 2014, he is now facing fierce competition from Qin Haiyang. The Chinese star won at the 2023 FINA World Championships and has been the fastest breaststroker leading up to the Olympics. At +100 with Bovada, he offers great value as the favourite.

Mountain Biking: Women’s Cross Country
While most of the attention will be on her French compatriot Pauline Ferrand-Prevot (-111.11), Loana Lecomte also enters this event in terrific form. She came second to Ferrand-Prevot at the World Championships and won her last World Cup circuit event in June. Lecomte was a dominant winner in a test event on this course last year, so back her to win a medal at -109.89 with top Olympic betting sites.
