Juventus vs Bologna

Juventus (18-8-6) bounced back from its loss at home to Inter Milan with a 2-1 win on the road over Cagliari on Saturday. That 1-0 loss to Internazionale was Juventus’s only loss since November 27 as they are 12-5-1 over their last 18 games. Elite play on defense has driven Juventus’s dominance; the club has allowed one goal or fewer in 10 of its last 11 matches.

Bologna (10-7-14) snapped a five-match winless streak with a 2-0 victory at home against Sampdoria. While Bologna has been excellent on defense over its current 2-3-2 streak with only four goals allowed over those seven games, they’ve also only scored five goals over that stretch. There’s plenty to like about the UNDER 2.5 goals here; each of Bologna’s last six games have had a total of two goals or less, as did the last match between these two when Juventus won 2-0 in December.

Napoli vs A.S. Roma

Napoli (20-6-6) had a golden opportunity to take over first place atop the Serie A table slip away with a stunning 3-2 loss at home to Fiorentina on Sunday. The club has now lost two of its last five games after going 5-3-0 over its previous eight games. Even more alarmingly, Napoli is just 3-1-5 over its last eight home games since starting the 2021-22 season off with a 6-1-0 record at home.

A.S. Roma (17-6-9) picked up a third straight win with a 2-1 victory at home over last-place Salernitana on Sunday. Roma has climbed into the top five on the Serie A table with an impressive 7-4-0 unbeaten streak over its last 11 matches. The club hasn’t faced a team as good as Napoli over the last few months, but a draw and even an outright upset feel like very real possibilities given Napoli’s recent home struggles. A play on the two-way line as 0.5-goal underdogs should yield some good value.

Atalanta vs. Hellas Verona

Atalanta (14-9-8) has spent most of the 2021-22 season in fourth place on the Serie A table thanks to a strong 11-4-2 start through its first 17 games. The wheels have fallen off since then however as Atalanta is down to eighth place in the standings with a 3-5-6 slump over its 14 matches. Atalanta picked up a second straight loss on the road to Sassuolo on Saturday.

EPL MATCHWEEK 33 BETTING TIPS

Hellas Verona (12-9-11) picked up a 2-0 loss on the road against Inter Milan on Friday. Verona’s current 1-2-2 record over its last five matches and 5-3-3 record over its last 11 matches don’t look all that impressive at first glance, but the three losses came against three of Serie A’s best teams in Juventus, Napoli and Inter Milan. Facing weaker competition in this slumping Atalanta club on Monday, this looks like another underdog well worth a shot on the two-way line.
