LINE: Duke -11.5 Over/Under 133 points

Syracuse was the last team invited to the Big Dance, but they have made the most of their invite, taking out the Midwest Region’s 3rd seed in Michigan State, who many penciled in to win the whole tournament.

The Orange have one of the lowest-scoring teams in the nation, but its defence is ranked 12th and in their three games in the tournament they have held opponents to an average of just 53.7 ppg.

Duke has breezed into the Sweet 16 after winning each of their first two games by at least 22 points. This game is all about offense vs. defense, as the Orange have a great D and will face a Blue Devils squad that ranks 6th in the nation in ppg. Late in the regular season at home Duke beat Syracuse 60-44 and held the Orange to a FG% of only 31.5%.

In their games held at a neutral site this season Syracuse is 5-2 and Duke is 7-1.

Syracuse Orange vs. Duke Blue Devils betting prediction

Tough call in this one, as while Cuse was crushed by Duke late in the season that game was on the road and the Orange have played great defense in the tournament.

While the Blue Devils will win this game they will not cover the -11.5 spread at Bovada.
