Tiger in trouble again after explosive affair claims

HAS he done it again?

It was just days ago that we gave Tiger Woods the benefit of the doubt on rumours he was cheating on Lindsey Vonn, but now a source has told media outlets that the reason for their split was Jason Dufner’s ex-wife Amanda Boyd.

The 39-year-old former world number one has been having a rough time on the course lately, but his private life hasn’t exactly been smooth either. Wood has been accused of having an affair with fellow PGA Tour player Jason Dufner’s ex-wife, whilst Woods and Vonn were still together.

There were rumours that Woods and Vonn split because Vonn caught Tiger cheating, but those rumours were put to bed by Vonn, who stated that Tiger simply didn’t want to get married again.

Amanda Boyd was married to 2013 PGA Championship winner Jason Dufner, but the pair divorced suddenly in March. Rumours now suggest it was Woods who was behind that surprising split.

An unnamed source brought the story to the US media this week.

“Even though Tiger dated Lindsey for years, he had a ‘thing’ for Amanda [Boyd],” a source said.

“At first, it was just innocent flirting, but earlier this year it became serious.”

Another unnamed source has stated that Boyd is known for her flirting.

“Amanda is gorgeous, and she’s known as a big flirt with the other players on the PGA Tour,” the second source said.

“I guess her flirty ways and good looks caught Tiger’s eye.”

Sources say that Jason Dufner was “devastated” when he learned of Woods’ alleged affair with his wife.

Accordingly to divorce papers, Boyd and Dufner cited an “irretrievable breakdown of the marriage” as the reason for the split.

Mark Steinberg, an agent for Tiger Woods, has told the media that the claim was “absolutely 100 per cent false” and a “complete lie and fabrication”.

Steinberg then told the Golf Channel that the story was “categorically false” and a “ridiculous rumour”.

The PGA Tour has been a rumour-mill all season after American golfer Dustin Johnson reportedly slept with fellow PGA players wives and girlfriends, and this latest allegation just continues the trend.

CrownBet.com.au currently has Woods at $51 to win the Open Championship and we’re eagerly awaiting his odds to miss the cut.
