Vegas-bound Oakland Raiders forge partnership with Caesers Palace

The Oakland Raiders, committed to relocate to Las Vegas in 2020, have announced a partnership with the famous Caesars Palace.

The NFL team will certainly adopt the spirit of its new home with one of the city’s most famous casino resorts, which will also sets up a sports betting relationship.

Both Caesars Palace and the Raiders announced the deal in November, but new details have emerged about some of the details behind the deal.

As part of the Raiders and Caesars’ new 15-year partnership deal, Caesars Palace will get naming rights to the new Raiders’ stadium, that seats 60,000 people.

Members of the Raiders will have exclusive membership cards at the casino that provide access to special club rooms and access to VIP packages and bookmaker lounges. Raiders fans will also have exclusive specials with the casino’s sports books and could benefit from bonuses and discounts.

The Raiders have ambitions to attract a number of new fans through Caesars Palace’s burgeoning tourist trade, while the resort should hope to extend its customer base and attract NFL fans from around the country who visit the city to watch the team play.

The Oakland Raiders are one of the most storied franchises in the history of the NFL and will bring to Las Vegas one of the most passionate fan bases in all of US sports — it is a mantle the people of its new home will have to adopt quickly to maintain that reputation.

The Raiders, now worth an estimated $2.5 billion, have been no strangers to big moves. They moved from Oakland to Los Angeles in 1982, then returned to Oakland in 1995. In 2017, NFL team owners voted to approve the Raiders’ application to relocate from Oakland to Las Vegas to begin the 2020 season.
