India defeat Pakistan in low-scoring thriller | T20 World Cup

India secured a six-run victory over their rivals Pakistan in a T20 World Cup match on Sunday.
With this win, Pakistan’s chances in the World Cup have taken a hit after losing their two matches.
Batting first India faced difficulties on a New York pitch were all out for 119 runs in 19 overs.
Notable players like Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma fell early, putting India in a tough spot.
However, a crucial partnership between Rishabh Pant (scoring 42 runs) and Axar Patel (scoring 20 runs) helped India reach a promising total.
Pakistan’s chase began shakily as they lost wickets to Jasprit Bumrah.
The experienced bowler ended with figures of 3/22 taking wickets, including Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam.
Hardik Pandya also contributed with two wickets, leaving Pakistan struggling at 5/73.
Despite the late-order effort, Pakistan fell short of the target, finishing at 7/113.
This defeat puts them in a tough spot to qualify for the Super Eight stage, as they now need to win against Canada and Ireland while hoping for outcomes in other matches.
Pakistan was originally considered the sixth favorite to win the tournament, with odds of +1200 with the top betting sites.
However, their chances have been adjusted to +2500 putting them below teams, like Afghanistan and New Zealand.
In their match on Tuesday in New York, Pakistan will be facing Canada.
To keep their World Cup dreams alive they need a victory and some favorable outcomes in matches.
