Lucky Kenyan wins big in Betway jackpot

BETWAY Sports has settled with a Kenyan who won a whopping KSh 2,145,000 on its gaming platform.

Stephen Muturi won on the Colossus multi-section Jackpot on the Betway’s online and mobile sports platform, making him one of the winners of the early settlement jackpot.

Coincidentally, his win comes a few days after his friend Stanley Irungu had won the SportPesa mid-week Jackpot. Irungu won alongside Joseph Kubai for predicting correctly 13 games. The two shared Ksh20, 080,391 in prizes.

Stephen Muturi received his cheque from the Betway Kenya offices on Galana Plaza accompanied by his friend Stanley Irungu.

The two friends have been betting with Betway since 2016 after being introduced to the gaming company by an employee. Monies accrued from betting are invested in their real estate business in Kitengela that currently has more than 80 employees.

According to the duo, they frequently win in sports betting due to constant research in the industry. The researcher is Stanley while Stephen does the risk-taking.

Receiving the cash cheque after the massive win, Stephen applauded Betway for its customer service and timely system upgrades.

In 2016, the Betway platform only allowed players to place a bet on Match Results but the current system allows multiline selection options. This gives players multiple options on each jackpot.

Stephen asked gamers to bet with Betway but had this advice for them. “I invest betting returns in my business but I never get tempted to bet on my business capital,” he said.

“This has made me remain afloat and cater for my family. I also appeal to Kenyan who frequently bet not to stop working.”
