Soaring Eagle Casino Launches Mobile Betting and iGaming Platform

Michigan’s 15th and final online casino and mobile sports betting platform is now live.

The Michigan Gaming Control Board announced on Thursday that it had cleared Soaring Eagle Gaming to launch its internet casino and sports betting site in the Wolverine State. Soaring Eagle Gaming is the gaming division of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, which owns Soaring Eagle Casino Resort in Mount Pleasant and Saganing Eagles Landing Casino in Standish.

The company partnered up with leading online casino content and software provider GAN to develop the iGaming and internet sports betting platform. The website is operating under the brand name Soaring Eagle Casino & Sports, and it is available to all residents of Michigan who are at least 21 years old.

To celebrate the launch, the site is giving new members a risk-free first bet up to $1000 for the sportsbook or a 100% match up to $1500 on the first two deposits for the casino. The casino welcome bonus also comes with 100 free spins, awarded over a five-day period.

Players can access the site on their desktop by visiting playeagle.com. The operator is also working on a mobile app that players can download to their iOS and Android smartphones for a better remote gambling experience.

State regulator applauds tribe for joining Michigan’s online gaming market

Soaring Eagle is the final tribal gaming operator to join the burgeoning MI mobile sportsbook and internet casino industry.

There are 12 Native Indian tribes operating gaming establishments in the precinct, and each is allowed to deploy one online wagering platform. The three commercial casinos in the Detroit area are also eligible to offer mobile sports betting and iGaming.

In an official statement about the latest launch, the Executive Director of the Michigan Gaming Control Board Henry Williams commended the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe for expanding its offering to include iGaming and mobile sports betting. He also noted that all eligible internet wagering providers were now operational with the launch of Eagle Casino and Sports.

‘’Michigan now has a full complement of 15 internet gaming and sports betting providers with the authorization of Eagle Casino and Sports. All of Michigan’s federally recognized tribes are offering internet gaming and sports betting. I congratulate the Saginaw Chippewa tribe as they expand their gaming offering,’’ said Williams.

Online gaming to complement the tribe’s retail sportsbook

The launch of Eagle Casino and Sports comes two weeks after the Saginaw Chippewa tribe rolled out retail betting at Soaring Eagle Casino and Saganing Eagle Landing Casino.

Operating under the Ascend Sportsbook brand name, the physical sports betting venue at Soaring Eagle started accepting bets on April 4 following a grand opening ceremony graced by retired NBA players Morris Peterson and Mateen Cleaves.

In addition to live betting windows and self-service kiosks, the venue features seating for more than 75 guests, food and beverage service, and multiple giant video screens for sports viewing. The operational hours of the sportsbook are 4 pm to midnight Monday to Wednesday, 11 am to midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and from 11 am to 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

For those visiting Saganing Eagle Landing Casino, the establishment’s sportsbook is located inside the Creekside Lounge.
