Maverick Gaming purchases Evergreen Gaming Corporation

Las Vegas land-based casino operator Maverick Gaming recently acquired the Washington gaming company Evergreen Gaming Corporation for the sum of $80.5 million.
 
The purchase agreement that saw Maverick Gaming take over the shares and assets of Evergreen Gaming Corporation was approved by the Washington State Gambling Commission. With the addition of numerous assets, the deal will drastically increase Maverick’s foothold in the United States gambling scene.
 
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Maverick Gaming, Eric Persson, in terms of strategy, this acquisition is essential for Maverick to maintain its position in Washington State, and they are hopeful that it will benefit the company’s operations and marketing.
 
“Strategically this acquisition is crucial to Maverick’s continued dominance in Washington state,” Persson said in a statement.
 
Persson further noted that the company and its entire team will work swiftly to make sure that they quickly integrate their new establishment into their entire company. Furthermore, he stated that Maverick Gaming is most likely to commence reaping the benefits of the acquisition as early as January next year.
 
Evergreen Gaming operates four card rooms in Washington State, which will now be overseen by Maverick Gaming. These card rooms include Riverside Casino in Tukwila, Chips Casino in Lakewood, Palace Casino in Lakewood, and Goldies Casino in Shoreline.
 
With this new acquisition, Maverick Gaming now operates a total of 31 casinos, hotels, and industrial companies that are spread over the different states, which include Washington, Colorado, and Nevada. In addition to the aforementioned properties, the US operator also manages 1,300 hotel rooms, 50 restaurants, about 360 table games, 2,700 slot machines, and over 3,000 workers working in its establishment.
 
In other news, Maverick Gaming has been on a spree to dominate the United States region. The operator recently signed a strategic agreement with casino apparel and solutions provider Acres Manufacturing Company.
