F1-UK-2025

The 2025 Formula 1 World Championship roars into Silverstone this weekend for the iconic British Grand Prix — one of the highlights of the calendar, and a race steeped in tradition.

The historic Northamptonshire venue offers high-speed corners, powerful straights, and passionate fans packing every grandstand. Final practice runs at 11:30am BST on Saturday before qualifying at 3pm. The grand prix itself will get underway at 3pm on Sunday, July 6.

McLaren head to their home race on a wave of momentum, with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri proving a dominant combination this season. Norris, in particular, will be hungry for a big result in front of his home fans after showing championship-winning form in Austria

Red Bull will look to bounce back at a circuit that traditionally suits their high-speed aero efficiency, after Max Verstappen was unfortunate to be out of the race on the first lap in Austria.

Mercedes, meanwhile, are banking on further upgrades to close the gap, with George Russell and Kimi Antonelli expected to be competitive in their home race.

Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton will be pushing hard to extend his 12-race podium streak at Silverstone with leading sportsbooks having him priced at +350.

British GP 2025 betting predictions

George Russell returns to home soil with a car that’s shown real promise, especially on cooler circuits like Silverstone. With the crowd behind him and Mercedes’ upgrades kicking in, a home victory is not out of the question.

Charles Leclerc has been one of the strongest qualifiers in recent rounds, and if Ferrari’s race pace holds up, Silverstone’s layout should suit him well. If he starts near the front, look for Leclerc to be fighting for a top-three finish.

Kimi Antonelli has impressed all season, and Silverstone’s flowing layout should suit his driving style. With a solid qualifying run and a reliable strategy, Antonelli is well placed to bank more points with a top-six finish — and he’ll be hungry to improve on his Austrian result.
