NASCAR Atlanta Preview
The NASCAR Cup Series takes center stage under the lights on Saturday for the Quaker State 400 at EchoPark Speedway, kicking off NASCAR’s new In-Season Challenge. Joey Logano grabbed pole with a lap of 30.979 seconds, edging Josh Berry on owner points after tying for fast time.
Ford swept the top eight starting positions, a statement of superspeedway strength for the Blue Oval brigade. Team Penske drivers Joey Logano (P1), Ryan Blaney (P3), and Austin Cindric (P4) are all poised for another strong night at a track where they’ve dominated since its 2022 reconfiguration.
Christopher Bell, winner of this year’s spring Atlanta race, faces a major challenge from 28th on the grid, while Kyle Busch starts 29th as he searches for his first win of 2025.

The Ford lockout in qualifying only reinforces how powerful Team Penske has been on Atlanta’s high banks since 2022.
