The Buffalo Bills also picked up a victory last Sunday, improving to 4-1 and 3-2 ATS over their last five games with a 27-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The Bills are now 8-3 and 6-5 ATS and enter this weekend in first place in the AFC East. Buffalo hasn’t won its division since 1995, which was also the last season that the Bills won a playoff game. This looks like the team that could snap those long franchise droughts.

Interestingly, the Bills opened as 2.5-point road favorites in this one but have been bet down to 1-point underdogs in the week leading up to the game. This could be due to the fact that the 49ers have an excellent passing defense, which ranks fourth in the NFL and allows only 206.5 passing yards per game, and the Bills are fairly one-dimensional in their offensive attack, relying heavily on the passing game.

Still, this feels like a bit of an overreaction to San Francisco’s win over the Rams.
