Caesars Entertainment has further expanded its sporting footprint by signing a 15-year partnership with Las Vegas Stadium.

Schedule to open in 2020, the Paradise venue will serve as the home field of the Las Vegas Raiders NFL team and the UNLV Rebels.

The deal makes Caesars a founding partner of the stadium and includes the construction of a branded entrance and signage around the arena.

“Sports have long been a core part of the Caesars experience,” said Caesars executive Chris Holden.

“With this deep partnership, Caesars will become an essential part of the game time ritual for Raiders fans everywhere.

“From activations to exclusive experiences, fans of the silver and black will see Caesars as their home on game day.”

This is the first time the Raiders franchise has partnered up with a gaming and entertainment company.

For Caesars, however, it is just the latest in a series of moves aimed at cornering the newly opened US sports betting market.

Earlier this week, the Nevada-based gambling giant announced deals with the NHL’s New Jersey Devils and the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers.

Caesars has some ground to make up on Vegas rival MGM Resorts, which was unveiled as the NHL’s official gambling partner this week and also has agreements with the NBA and the New York Jets.
