Matchweek 3 of the 2025/26 English Premier League season kicks off this Saturday with Chelsea hosting Fulham in a derby matchup that has proved competitive in recent years.

The highlight of the weekend comes on Sunday, however, as Arsenal travel to Liverpool for a high-stakes clash with the defending champions that help shape the title race.

Chelsea vs Fulham

Saturday, August 30 – 12:30pm BST – Stamford Bridge

Chelsea and Fulham will clash in the West London Derby on Saturday afternoon, with the home team seeking their second straight victory. The Blues smashed West Ham 5-1 last weekend, while Fulham were held to a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at home. Derbies traditionally bring goals, so both teams to score is a great bet.

Manchester United vs Burnley

Manchester United managed just one point and one goal across their opening two fixtures against Arsenal and Fulham. Even though Matheus Cunha is yet to open his United account, he has been a constant threat, and this matchup represents a great opportunity for him to find the back of the net.

Sunderland vs Brentford

Saturday, August 30 – 3pm BST – Stadium of Light

Sunderland will return home to host Brentford off the back of a 2-0 loss away to Burnley. The Bees bounced back from a 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest with an upset victory over Aston Villa in Matchweek 2. Interestingly, these two sides have only met three times in all competitions. Expect a high-scoring affair.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Bournemouth

Saturday, August 30 – 3pm BST – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Thomas Frank has Tottenham Hotspur firing on all cylinders to start the 2025/26 EPL campaign, recording strong wins against Burnley and Manchester City. Bournemouth looked good against Liverpool on opening night but struggled to put away Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend. Goals at both ends are very likely.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Everton

Saturday, August 30 – 3pm BST – Molineux Stadium

Wolverhampton Wanderers improved slightly on their Matchweek 1 performance with a 0-1 loss to Bournemouth, but they have been far from impressive to start the season. Everton were very good against Brighton in their home opener last week, claiming a 2-0 win. Wolves are tough to beat at Molineux; however, with top sports betting sites offering +185 for an Everton win, it is too good to pass up.

Leeds United vs Newcastle United

Saturday, August 30 – 5:30pm BST – Elland Road

Leeds United suffered a 5-0 smashing away to Arsenal in Matchweek 2, and they will return home to host Newcastle United in what sets up as a massive fixture for both teams. Newcastle were unlucky to not share the points against Liverpool, and if they show up at Elland Road in similar form, they will claim their first win of the campaign.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Manchester City

Sunday, August 31 – 2pm BST – American Express Stadium

Brighton will host Manchester City as both squads seek to bounce back from 2-0 losses from the previous weekend. The Seagulls created plenty of chances against Everton but were unable to score, while City were convincingly beaten by Tottenham at home. Both teams have scored in four of the last five meetings, with three or more goals scored in the last four.

Nottingham Forest vs West Ham United

Sunday, August 31 – 2pm BST – The City Ground

Nottingham Forest are one of five teams that are unbeaten through two games in the EPL, and they will return home to host bottom-of-the-table West Ham United. Forest can pile on the goals, especially at home, and against a suspect West Ham defense, a big win is in store for the hosts.

Liverpool vs Arsenal

Sunday, August 31 – 4:30pm BST – Anfield

The headline fixture of Matchweek 3 will be the clash between title contenders Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield, with both teams putting their unblemished records on the line. These two couldn’t be split in both matches last season, drawing 2-2 on each occasion. Expect a similar result in this meeting.

Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace

Sunday, August 31 – 7pm BST – Villa Park

Aston Villa and Crystal Palace find themselves in the bottom half of the table after slow starts to the new campaign. After finishing sixth last year, Villa have struggled in the opening weeks, failing to score and claiming only one point. Given the lack of goals from both sides, taking the under is a strong bet.
