Hungarian Grand Prix betting guide: latest odds, best bets, predictions and roughies after qualifying. Value on Bezzecchi, Acosta, Aldeguer.

MotoGP-Hungary

The 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix looks like Marc Márquez’s to lose after the Ducati star delivered a commanding 1:36.518 in qualifying to secure pole at Balaton Park. With the tight new circuit rewarding precision and rhythm, Márquez is perfectly poised to control the race from the front on Sunday, August 24, and enters as the overwhelming -625 favorite with top sportsbooks to notch another victory in his relentless title march.

Marco Bezzecchi impressed once again for Aprilia, putting together a clean run to lock in a front-row start. He’s second in the market at +580 and will be eyeing a breakout win after several close calls in recent rounds.

Fabio Di Giannantonio starts from P3 and sits at +1300 with top sportsbooks. The VR46 rider has been quietly consistent and will be looking to capitalize from a strong grid spot at a circuit that’s still a wildcard for most teams.

Enea Bastianini and Franco Morbidelli round out the top five, while Pedro Acosta and Fermín Aldeguer remain live chances from rows three and four. Álex Márquez, meanwhile, has work to do from 14th on the grid — but can’t be ruled out entirely at long odds of +6600.

Álex Márquez to win
It’s now or never for the younger Márquez. After qualifying down in P14, he’ll need a lightning start and a perfect strategy to mount a charge — but don’t count him out. His Ducati still has the speed, and he’s one of the few with the racecraft to capitalize on late chaos. At +6600, the value is undeniable if Marc runs into any trouble.

Fermín Aldeguer to win
The Gresini Ducati rider qualified a tidy P8 and looks well-positioned to make a move as the race unfolds. With clean air and solid pace in the final sector, Aldeguer is a strong play in unsettled conditions. Backing him at +3000 could pay dividends.

Johann Zarco to win
Zarco starts way back in P18, but stranger things have happened — especially in Hungary’s unpredictable weather. If early crashes or red flags shake up the order, the veteran Frenchman might just ride the wave. At +100000, he’s the longshot of longshots — but that’s exactly why he’s worth a nibble.
