Indonesia MotoGP preview: updated Mandalika odds, key contenders and three value plays.
The 2025 Indonesian MotoGP will be a celebration of dominance after Marc Márquez clinched the world championship in the previous round — but there’s still plenty on the line as the grid rolls into Pertamina Mandalika Circuit from October 3–5.
The tight, technical nature of the Mandalika layout doesn’t typically favor runaway leads, which may open the door for a more competitive Sunday. That said, Márquez still heads the betting as a clear +137 favorite to claim his eighth win of the season, even with the pressure off.
Behind him, title runner-up Francesco Bagnaia sits at +225, while Marco Bezzecchi (+750) and Pedro Acosta (+1000) are both searching for their second victories of the year.
Our free MotoGP Indonesia tips for 2025 include:
Pedro Acosta’s odds of +1000 offer solid value for a rider who’s consistently aggressive and measured under pressure. The Mandalika circuit suits his late-braking style, and if he can stay in the top five early, he’s a genuine threat in the final laps.
At +6600, Bastianini presents serious long-shot upside. He’s shown flashes of form in recent rounds and could capitalize on Mandalika’s flowing mid-sector if Ducati’s setup clicks. He’s one of the better deep-value plays this weekend.
Jack Miller is a wildcard with the kind of track record that makes +6000 tempting. If tire degradation becomes a factor — and it often does in Indonesia — his experience and smooth throttle control could make the difference.
