The biggest rivalry in the NBA betting heats up on Monday night in Boston where the Celtics host the Lakers.

After the Lakers had their nine-game winning streak snapped at home with a loss to the Orlando Magic the team got back in the win column in their last game with a 124-115 road win over the Houston Rockets.

The Lakers have the most wins in the Western Conference, and they are tied with the Milwaukee Bucks for the most road wins in the league.

One of the big guns of the Lakers may be out for this game, as Anthony Davis has missed the last five games with a back injury, and he is questionable for this game.

LeBron James went for 31 points and had 12 assists in the win over the Rockets and Kyle Kuzma was solid starting for Davis going for 23 points. He has scored at least 23 points in three of his last five games but only went for four points in the game before the win over Houston.

King James has scored at 31 points in four of his last five games and in his last two games he has a whopping 31 assists.

The Celtics are led by a defense that ranks fifth in the league only allowing an average of 105.6 ppg but in their three-game skid they have allowed an average of 122.3 ppg.

In Boston’s last game they lost to the Phoenix Suns 123-119 even though guard Marcus Smart set a franchise record with 11 3-pointers. For the game they only shot 43.8% from the floor allowing the Suns to shoot 47.2%.

Kemba Walker leads the Celtics in scoring averaging 22.1 ppg and he went for 40 points in his last game. However, he missed the Suns’ game and is a question mark for this game with a minor knee injury.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are each averaging over 20 ppg on the season and Brown is also a question mark for this game with an injury.
